WASA 2009 will be held in Boston, MA, from August 16 to August 18, 2009. We encourage submissions of workshop proposals on special topics in the general areas of wireless networks. The purpose of WASA workshops is to provide a platform for presenting novel ideas in a less formal and possibly more focused way than the conference itself. The Workshop organizers are expected to be active in the field where they propose a workshop, to attend their entire workshop, and to provide an article summarizing the event. The workshop papers can be published together with the main WASA proceedings in Springer LNCS series.
Workshop proposals should address all the following issues:
- Title and Acronym of workshop
- Description of topics
- Scope and novelty of the workshop
- Workshop organizer(s) and their credentials
- Format of workshop (1/2 day or 1 day)
- Intended Program Committee (indicate those who have agreed already)
- Highlights (e.g., keynotes, panels, journal special issue)
- Expected number of participants
- Details of any previous workshops
- Draft call for papers (PDF format) indicating the relevant topics and the intended program committee
Proposals should be sent to the workshops chair:
Guanling Chen, UMass Lowell, glchen@cs.uml.edu
